Plant-based startup Beyond Meat has made its debut at Costco stores across the US*.
The company, who debuted on New York’s Nasdaq exchange earlier this year, has launched a four-pack (eight patties) of its meatless Beyond Burger – for $14.99.
‘Burger enthusiasts’
“Perfect for burger enthusiasts and large gatherings just before the holidays,” Beyond Meat wrote on its website.
“This is also the first time Beyond Meat is available at a club store; talk about a club everyone wants to be a part of.”
LA Lakers
Last month, Beyond Meat partnered with Los Angeles Lakers to ‘further amplify awareness of delicious plant-based meats that serve both body and planet’.
“Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to work with many of the world’s greatest athletes as they explore Beyond Meat and the impact plant-based eating has on their performance, their recovery between games and workouts, and the broader benefits to health and environment,” said Ethan Brown, CEO and Founder of Beyond Meat.
“As an LA-based company, we are excited to team up with one of LA’s most iconic brands to engage our local community and further amplify awareness of our delicious plant-based meats that serve both body and planet.”
