The plant-based Beyond Meat patty has launched on the menu of New York City organic burger joint, Bareburger – adding to the 9,000 restaurants and stores where the burger is now sold.

The Beyond Burger, which is renowned for tasting, looking, and cooking like traditional beef, is now featured on Bareburger’s meat-centric menus.

The launch coincides with the removal of the elk and wild boar patties.

Beyond Burger and Impossible Burger go head-to-head in a taste test

First

Operating 12 locations across New York, the chain is now officially the first restaurant to offer both the Beyond Burger and the Impossible Burger.

The vegan patty, which is also soy-free, gluten-free, and GMO-free, will roll out nationwide in Bareburger locations by the end of February, when all 39 eateries will be offering the option.

Menu

According to the burger joint, it was important to them that diners had a menu with choices.

The innovative burger is served at Bareburger on a brioche bun with vegan American cheese, sweet pickles, red onion, green leaf lettuce, and special sauce – and can be made vegan by asking for no special sauce and the multrigrain bun instead.

Several more plant-based options have been added to the menus of the NYC chain, including a black bean burger and a quinoa patty.
