Aussie seitan ribs brand Barbie Grrrl has set up a residency in London – where you can enjoy its legendary food for a month.

Customers will be able to sample the ribs from Tuesday to Sunday each week, between 12-4pm and 6-9pm, until September 3 at the Canvas Cafe in Shoreditch, just off Brick Lane.

The ribs are cooked from fresh every morning – and once they are sold out for the day, they will not be available until the next day.

Recipe

The seitan is rubbed in a mix of spices – including turmeric, sweet paprika, fennel seeds and demerara sugar. They are then smothered in BBQ sauce.

You can have plain ribs for £5, or paired with Canvas Café’s summer salad selection for £7.?

Cards are not accepted – you can only pay for the ribs with cash.
