Austrian-American actor and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger says ‘elite’ vegan athletes on The Game Changers film will ‘blow your mind’.

The Game Changers, which made its global debut yesterday (September 16), ‘documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports, mixing real-time, groundbreaking science with cinematic stories of struggle and triumph’.

‘Toughest athletes on the planet’

“The film features some of the strongest, fastest and toughest athletes on the planet – and it’s backed by them too – with additional EPs including Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic, and nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul,” says the film’s description.

Schwarzenegger, who terminates myths about protein in the film, told his 17.9 million Instagram followers: “The Game Changers comes out today. I promise you that these elite athletes will blow your mind. Find a theater and see it tonight at the link in my bio.”

The film, directed by Oscar-winner Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by Oscar-winner James Cameron, has since announced it be available to watch digitally ‘very soon’ – while some venues are offering an extra screening of the film.
