A 100 percent vegan diner has opened in Camden Market.

Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner in North Yard will offer vegan-friendly versions of US fast food favourites, including a weekly changing menu of comfort food takes on meatloaf, buffalo wings and fried chicken.

It is the brainchild of former teacher Ruth (Rudy) Mumma and vegan chef Matthew Foster, who has worked in the foodservice industry for 25 years.

‘Excited’

They said: “Camden Market has a hugely international appeal and constant flow of worldwide visitors, particularly as a London hotspot for school trips. It has an established vegan following and we’re excited to see what they think of our food.

“We therefore felt it would be a prime location to bring our concept to life to the widest audience of children possible

“We’ll be welcoming feedback and incorporating it into our weekly changing specials menu.”

Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner plans to open for dinner reservations in the summer.
