Almond Breeze Recalled Due To Potential Cow’s Milk Contamination

Dairy
alternative company Almond Breeze has announced a recall of 145,254 half-gallon
containers of vanilla-flavored product.

Contaminated
products

The
potential bad batch has been shipped to more than 20 states – leaving the
company concerned for those with allergies, although it is technically ‘safe to
drink’ for the nonallergic.

The
contaminated cartons have been sold in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida,
Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan,
Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New
York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia
and Wisconsin.

The recall
applies to cartons with the barcode ‘41570 05621’ – and a ‘use by’ date of
September 2.
