Budget supermarket Aldi is launching multiple vegan products across its UK stores today (January 2).
New own-brand products include Rainbow Vegetable Stew (£2.19) and Paleo Wholefood Bars (£1.99, 5 pack).
Vegan products
Products Aldi will start stocking made by other companies include Hellmann’s Vegan Mayonnaise (£1.79) and Flying Goose Sriracha Mayonnaise (£1.49).
Aldi is the first UK supermarket to stock ‘One Pot’ brand Soulful, with OnePots hitting the shelves (£1.99). The three flavors of the self-contained meal pots include Butternut, Lentil & Spinach, West African Peanut & Chickpea or Brazilian Tomato & Black Bean with Cashews & Quinoa.
In addition, the store has added Soulful Super Soup (£1.79, 600g) to its offerings in two flavors; Butternut, Lentil & Spinach with Coconut and Turmeric or Sweet Potato with Coconut and Spirulina.
Aldi is also adding Organic Bean Spaghetti (£1.99, 200g) to its shelves – in in Organic Edamame, Black Bean, and Organic Soybean Spaghetti varieties. All are naturally gluten-free.
