Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard has adopted a plant-based diet.
The American basketball player decided to give the vegan diet a go in a bid to shed some weight this season.
The NBA player has taken to Instagram to share his success with the diet change, saying he is now down to 190 pounds – about five pounds lighter than he weighed at the end of July, and eight pounds lighter than his listed weight a season ago.
Lillard has also turned to a plant-based diet in response to his constant aches and pains over the course of last season.
The professional athlete has slimmed down mixing his basketball workouts with swimming laps in the pool, with boxing, and of course his brand new vegan cuisine.
