Tesla has announced that two of its cars – the Model 3 and the Model Y – will become fully vegan next year, according to Electrek.

While Tesla uses animal-free leather for its interiors, its steering wheels feature animal-leather as standard. Customers can order leather-free steering wheels as an ‘off-menu’ item.

As of next year, the Model Y and Model 3 will be entirely vegan, including the steering wheel.
