Record-Breaking Sprinter Elijah Hall Says Veganism Has ‘Amazing’ Effect On His Body

Track and field sprinter Elijah Hall, an American record holder in the indoor 200 meters, has praised veganism for having an ‘amazing’ effect on his body.

Hall, who is training for the Tokyo Olympic Games which have been delayed until 2021 due to the coronavirus, made the comment on a recent Instagram post.

‘The best decision’

“Changing my diet was the best decision I could have made. The decision to become vegan was very challenging and I made this change about three months ago,” he told his 19,300 followers.

“The effects that it’s having on my body is amazing. Becoming a plant-based athlete has open many doors to my health and my training. We On A Mission.”

‘The Game Changers’

Hall also reposted an Instagram story from The Game Changersan acclaimed documentary that has inspired a slew of professional athletes to ditch animal products.

The film, which ‘documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports’, is directed by Oscar-winner Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by Oscar-winner James Cameron. Mixed martial artists James Wilks stars and produces.
