Retired mixed martial artist Rashad Anton Evans says going vegan has ‘changed his life’.

The UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC Light Heavyweight champion made the comment when he recently featured on the 90th episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast.

‘All vegan’

“Ever since I changed my diet up I need to have a couple of these [spirulina drinks] every single day and it makes me feel good you know? [And] I don’t eat meat anymore,” Evans said.

When asked by Rogan if he still ate fish or ‘any of that’ – Evans confirmed his diet was ‘all vegan’, and had been like that for ‘almost two years’.

‘I love it’

“I love it,” he replied. “It really has changed my life man, it’s been one of the things I can say that’s just revolutionized my complete everything.

“It’s been everything that has changed me from a mental standpoint, physical standpoint, and even a spiritual standpoint.”

The pair also discuss the carnivore diet which made Rogan ‘more aggressive’ and gave him powerful ‘diarrhea’.
