Kensington Palace has declined to comment on reports that Prince Harry and some friends reportedly killed 15 wild boar during a hunting trip.
According to reports, Harry joined a group of around 60 people on Friday afternoon, for the hunt at the grounds of his friend Albrecht Fürst zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg, after flying to Germany on a private jet.
It is not known whether the Prince personally killed any of the animals.
‘Ritual’
A source reportedly told the Daily Mail: “Harry enjoys the whole ritual of the hunt in Germany – from the sound of the horn, to the schnapps toasting the start, to the actual shooting.”
The Prince has been pictured before posing with the corpses of animals he has killed.
The royal’s new fiancee – Meghan Markle – is a self-described ‘animal lover’ who reportedly wears vegan leather.
Although she calls herself an animal lover, she is not vegan, eating a plant-based diet only during the week.
There is no evidence to suggest any animals were shot illegally.
