NBA Star Kyrie Irving Opens Up About Side Effects Of Plant Based Diet

Top basketball player Kyrie Irving has spoken out about the effects of his plant-based diet.

Speaking post game, the Celtics guard was asked whether he had lost weight to get in shape for the season.

He said: “This season I’ve been on more of a plant-based diet diet, getting away from all the animals and all that. I had to get away from that.”

Sharing the side effects of his new diet, Irving said: “My energy is up and my body feels amazing.

“Just understanding what the diet is like for me…means I’ve been able to sustain my energy at the highest level.”

Irving joins a slew of athletes who have benefited from ditching animal products this year, including; NFL star Griff Whalen, basketball player Wilson Chandler, former rugby player Ben Cohen, and Formula 1 giant Lewis Hamilton.
