A UK-based company has launched vegan condoms targeted at women.

Contraceptive brand HANX released the line of luxury vegan condoms last week.

The condoms are designed to be worn by men, but are being aimed at women. They are bound to become ‘the norm for women, as well as men, to carry’, according to the brand.

The HANX products are made from vegan, 100 per cent natural, and Fairtrade latex, and are wrapped in a matte foil, to promote discreteness.

Empowering women

The British company aims to empower women to take control of their own sexual health.

“Up until now, condoms have been designed by men, for men. This needs to change, and we are here to shake things up,” says co-founder Farah Kabir.

According to her, HANX is ‘the first luxury male condom, designed for women, by women’.

A condom pack retails for £6 online, and can be delivered to the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
