Leading Plant-Based Festival Moves To BFI On Southbank To Meet Major Demand

Leading UK plant-based festival Vevolution will returns this Winter – in a bigger venue with its most exciting line-up yet. The highly-anticipated event on November 10 will take place at the at the iconic British Film Institute (BFI) on London’s Southbank.

The festival has pulled in more than 3,000 attendees to date, and has become a firm favourite of the entrepreneurial millennial crowd, regularly attracting high-profile influencers from the worlds of social and traditional media. 

Headline speakers for Vevolution, which focuses on sharing inspiring stories and ideas from leaders of the plant-powered movement, include Sunday Times best selling authors BOSH! And King CookDaily – both of whom have been pivotal in reshaping the UK’s perceptions of vegans.

Culture

Fitness and fashion are a big part of this year’s event with Naturally Stefanie and Rachel Ama appearing at the the festival alongside Meg and Komie Vora, founders of leading LA vegan fashion brand Delikate Rayne.

And in a new twist for 2018, – Eat Drink Vegan – America’s premier plant-based food and drink festival, will host the second stage at Vevolution, bringing with them one of LA’s leading chefs and restaurants to combine with the best of the UK vegan food scene.

Vevolution events have become culturally significant as well as hugely popular since the launch in 2016, repeatedly selling-out, as well as appearing across mainstream media outlets including The Guardian, Forbes, and Metro UK. Founders Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel moved the event to the BFI this year in a bid to meet demand, after selling-out five weeks ahead of Vevolution 2017.

Empowering people

Speaking about the upcoming Vevolution Festival Judy Nadel, Vevolution, Co-Founder, said: “Vevolution is all about empowering people to live happy and fulfilled lives, where we make positive contributions to our communities. The festival is backed by a number of leading plant-based companies including headline sponsors BOL whose founders turned their entire business plant-based in July 2018.

Tickets range between £45.00 – £76.00 and will go on sale at 4pm on August 16 here
