A Twitter post showing what may be the worst vegan meal ever has been ‘liked’ more than 55,000 times.

The post was made after Georgina Jarvis ordered a vegan salad while on holiday in Fuengirola, near Malaga on the Costa del Sol.

Waiters told the family that the restaurant catered for vegans (and technically… the meal is free of all animal products…)

Salads

According to Georgina’s sister Gabbie: “Georgina originally ordered a vegetarian pizza with no cheese but serving staff came out and told us shortly after that it had egg in it and she should look at the salads.

“When it arrived, me and Georgina shared awkward eye contact and I couldn’t help but laugh.”

Hungry

Gabbie added: “She is used to eating raw vegetables and she was hungry so she ate it all but asked for a bread roll to accompany it (no butter).”

One Twitter user said: “I mean, it is vegan. What’s the problem!?”

Gabbie replied: “It’s raw tomatoes and onions on a plate, what isn’t the problem?”
