Designer Stella McCartney has won a PETA Vegan Fitness Award for a gym bag she designed for her line with Adidas.

The first-ever PETA Vegan Fitness Awards ‘celebrate the products, athletes, and influencers at the top of the cruelty-free game’.

Other winners include Sweaty Betty’s PrimaLoft-insulated Exploration Softshell Jacket (Best Vegan Outerwear), Deliciously Ella’s Cacao & Almond Energy Ball (Best Vegan Energy Food), and three-time world-record holder Fiona Oakes, who receives the Vegan Athlete Award for being an inspirational runner and animal advocate.

‘Cutting edge’

PETA Director, Elisa Allen, said: “Today’s exercise enthusiasts want cutting-edge products that help them get active without harming animals or the environment.

“All the winners of PETA’s first-ever Vegan Fitness Awards prove that the fitness world is embracing clean vegan materials and ingredients like never before.”
