Award-winning environmental documentary The Need To Grow, directed by Ryan Wirick and Rob Herring, has made its global premiere.

The film, executively produced and narrated by Marvel star Rosario Dawson, is ‘focused on cutting-edge solutions to build a new food ecosystem and regenerate our planet’s dying soils’.

The Need To Grow, which won Best Documentary at Beaufort International Film Festival this year, as well as a plethora of other awards, is available to watch online for free until October 15.

‘Inspire you to take action’

“The Need To Grow takes you inside the hearts and innovations of three very different leaders,” the film’s description reads.

“An 8-year-old girl challenges the ethics of a beloved organization – a renegade farmer struggles to keep his land as he revolutionizes resource-efficient agriculture – and an accomplished visionary inventor faces catastrophe in the midst of developing game-changing technology,”

“With the planet on the brink of ecological disaster, and chronic disease rates skyrocketing, this is a story of real-world SOLUTIONS. It will warm your heart, fill you with hope, and inspire you to take action.”
