Ground-breaking
vegan documentary Dominion will be screened in Japan this week at theaters in
both Okayama and Tokyo.

Dominion

These will
be the first screenings of the animal rights-focused expose – directed by Chris
Delforce and co-produced by Earthlings director Shaun Monson – to occur in the
country.

The hotly anticipated documentary also features the voices of animal advocate celebrities Sia, Joaquin Pheonix, Rooney Mara, Kat Von D and Sadie Sink.

Tokyo

The Tokyo
screening – priced at 1000¥ per ticket – will feature Japanese subtitles, and attendees
will be given a free hand guide to animal activism, also in Japanese.

Those who
wish to attend the 2pm event must register here.

Okayama

The Okayama
screening will feature both Dominion and popular animal film Chicken Run which –
while also known for anti-exploitation themes – is more digestible for younger
audiences.

The cost of
the screening is 700¥ per ticket, and it will begin at 1pm.

Information
on both the Tokyo and Okayama events can be found on the event Facebook pages.
