Canadian Wrestler Credits Plant-Based Diet For Her Immense Strength

Canadian wrestler and former one time WSU (Women Superstars Uncensored) Champion Laura Dennis has credited a plant-based diet for her strength.

The athlete, who used to fight under the name Cherry Bomb and now performs under the name Allie – is well known for working with a number of organizations including Great Canadian Wrestling, NCW Femmes Fatales and Women Superstars Uncensored.

Healthy

She says: “I have been vegan since I was 14 years old. I don’t eat any meat or dairy. 

“I like to have junk food and sweets every now and then, but for the most parts, it’s spinach, tofu, lots of fruits and whole greens.”

The sportswoman, who travels a lot, spoke to India’s Economic Times about her diet, saying: “I packed protein bars, rice cakes, peanut butter, oat meals because I wasn’t sure it’s going to be this awesome. But it’s been really easy to stay on my diet here.”
