A Canadian man facing charges after allegedly assaulting a woman and killing a dog is set to enter his plea on January 31.
18-year old Cameron Robert Dolan was reportedly dating the woman he stands accused of assaulting – prior to allegedly killing her mother’s dog in Spryfield, Nova Scotia.
Custody
Dolan is currently being held in custody in the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility.
He is facing charges of assault, uttering threats, injuring or endangering an animal and killing an animal among others.
Missing dog
Police believe that Tucker, a yorkie-chihuahua mix, was killed – but his remains have not been returned to his family.
Owner Cindy Beaver says she’s been searching for Tucker’s body and suspects the remains were thrown into a surrounding snowbank or lake.
Beaver told CTV she hopes others will help in the search – and that she just wants closure.
She added: “I don’t care about anything else, I just want to bring him home.”
