A Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy has suffered extensive injuries to her face, head, and hips – but will be given a second chance to life, thanks to an animal welfare charity in Australia.
As part of the #EvieMatters campaign, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Queensland (RSPCA Qld) has taken responsibility for the dog, with help from a crowdfunder by charity Chuffed.
Campaign
Evie will undergo vital specialist vet surgery this week; because of her injuries, the puppy was forced to walk on her front two legs until now.
Chuffed managed to raise over $26,000 AUD, which will aid the 8-month-old dog in her surgery, as well as her long and expensive recovery.
RSPCA Qld is known to rescue and improve the lives of domestic, farmed, and native animals throughout Queensland.
