BBC Three has produced a fictional video showing the Queen going vegan.

Using footage from TV show The Crown, the video superimposes animated mouths on the characters of the Queen and Prince Phillip, to show their conversation as they decide to adopt a plant-based diet.

Oreos

The pair discuss transitioning to a vegan lifestyle, with Philip relenting when the Queen tells him that vegans can eat Oreos.

The royal couple decide they will become vegan – but will not become like ‘those people who always talk about how great it is’.

The short comic clip cuts to the Queen giving a speech to many people.

“I am vegan,” she announces to the assembled crowd.
