Formula 1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton is on the brink of a historic fourth F1 Championship title – and he has credited this success to his vegan diet.
After winning yesterday’s United States Grand Prix, the Mercedes driver could clinch the title next weekend in Mexico. Should he win a fourth title, he will be only the fifth athlete to ever do so.
The Brit has been vocal about the positive impact of his new lifestyle.
‘Best ever’
Hamilton, 32, said: “I feel the best I’ve ever felt physically and mentally.
“All year I’ve felt very strong mentally, but I think physically I’m now taking also a big step and that’s really the decision I made to change my diet.
“The best decision was obviously moving to this team; the second best was changing my diet.”
