Toronto
police are in the process of investigating the death of 14 geese who were found
dead in an industrial area of the city.

Decapitated

The geese
were discovered at 6:20 am, decapitated, with torn wings and snapped necks.

It is
believed based on the state of the animals that their condition was the result
of human attack.

One gosling
survived the account despite sustaining injuries, presumably from the attack.

Investigation

The event
is being investigated by Canadian Wildlife Enforcement Directorate, in
cooperation with local police.

Tips can be
submitted to the police, or Crime Stoppers by calling 416-222-TIPS.
